Veterans Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, verse # 6

When the sun shines down on freedom,
and fireworks light the sky,
when laughter fills the summer air,
and parades go marching by,
when the sprinklers cool the lawns,
and elder minds reminisce,
remember that we have these privileges
because many fought for us.
