Greetings From The Heart: Happy Birthday, verse # 7

Welcome!

As we travel through each day, we send and receive messages constantly. Yet, nothing reaches the heart quite like the surprise of finding a written message from a friend or a loved one tucked away in the back of the mailbox behind the bills and the junk mail or balancing on the kitchen table between the salt and pepper shakers. Greeting cards, postcards, and letters from afar remind us of our connections, brightening the light within our heart that is lit with the match of sincerity and bringing comfort to the spirit as we are reminded of the web of love surrounding us.

It is important to take the time to tell the ones we love how much they mean to us, how much they have influenced our lives, or to simply let them know that they are in our thoughts. A brief message now and again can help to strengthen the ties that bind us together as family, as friends, or as a community of kindred spirits. An ordinary day, a mundane moment, or a difficult period in our lives can be brightened and eased by simply receiving that brief message to remind us that we are not alone and that we are loved.

Happy Birthday…

The winter moon will shine down upon you in the early evening hours,
sending you Happy Birthday wishes upon shimmering white rays of light
that will sparkle upon the snow like diamonds,
and the stars will write your name in the skies with the pen of Andromeda,
and your dreams will ride on the back of Pegasus,
freeing your spirit and leading you to new horizons.
