Greetings From The Heart: St. Patrick's Day, verse # 3

Welcome!

As we travel through each day, we send and receive messages constantly. Yet, nothing reaches the heart quite like the surprise of finding a written message from a friend or a loved one tucked away in the back of the mailbox behind the bills and the junk mail or balancing on the kitchen table between the salt and pepper shakers. Greeting cards, postcards, and letters from afar remind us of our connections, brightening the light within our heart that is lit with the match of sincerity and bringing comfort to the spirit as we are reminded of the web of love surrounding us.

It is important to take the time to tell the ones we love how much they mean to us, how much they have influenced our lives, or to simply let them know that they are in our thoughts. A brief message now and again can help to strengthen the ties that bind us together as family, as friends, or as a community of kindred spirits. An ordinary day, a mundane moment, or a difficult period in our lives can be brightened and eased by simply receiving that brief message to remind us that we are not alone and that we are loved.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day…

The color of the day is green and fertility shall reign
on this day of Spring with celebrations, pints, parades,
make a toast, raise it high, may St. Patrick reign,
and may laughter, love, and peace grace your life
on this St. Patrick’s Day.
