Earth Day, verse # 1

Earth Day…

The world keeps spinning ‘round, seasons come and go,
can you hear the broken-hearted angels’ tears crying for the world,
but we can heal their heartbreak, we can save our planet’s path
by changing how we live each day, just by doing what we can,
plant a tree, grow a flower, conserve, recycle, or reuse,
so that the world keeps spinning ‘round for future souls to use,
so that they’ll have fields of green, clean rivers and clean lakes,
the future will be protected if wise choices we will make,
so that the world keeps spinning ‘round, seasons come and go,
and we’ll hear the joyful-hearted angels singing to the world.
