As we travel through each day, we send and receive messages constantly. Yet, nothing reaches the heart quite like the surprise of finding a written message from a friend or a loved one tucked away in the back of the mailbox behind the bills and the junk mail or balancing on the kitchen table between the salt and pepper shakers.
