Happy Birthday…

There once was a time, a long time ago,
when we were perplexed by the thought of getting old,
then there came a day, then there came a year,
when we realized we were getting older, old was getting near,
now we are old, another birthday arrives,
and we realize how blessed we are to have had such a life,
a life filled with laughter, some joy, some tears,
and a life that has lasted for years upon years,
so this is your day, another milestone has come,
and I wish you a happy day with more yet to come.
