Happy Birthday…

Birthdays are a map through a life full of treasure,
each celebration leading us to another locked box
that can only be opened with the heart,
a box containing a smile or a laugh or a hug,
a box containing a memory in the making,
or a memory past,
and when our life nears the end,
the treasures within the invisible boxes
are worth more than silver and gold.
