Happy holidays…

The holiday season is about so much more than
a delicious meal, desserts, football, and gifts.
This is the season of humanity,
of opening our hearts and our homes to loved ones,
of expressing the good tidings that we feel throughout the year,
and of sharing our hope for the future.
And, my holiday wish for you is that your heart and your home
be filled with joy, friends and family, and peace.

Looking out a veiled window,
one can see the twinkling lights of lawns
as they come to life at nightfall
as if sending an invitation to the world to celebrate,
and as the veil is pulled back
and one looks up high above,
the moon is smiling down with pride,
enjoying this peaceful holiday night
and wishing the world below a joyous holiday season.

Happy Holidays…

Christmas trees and candles decorate the homes,
snowmen and reindeer sit upon the lawns,
good tidings spread across the land as carolers go by,
and the winter winds sing a melody that rings throughout the night,
joy flies from the mountaintops down to the city streets,
whispering words of kindness to the people that it meets,
as the winter wraps around us like a warm and comfortable coat,
inviting all to come together in harmony and love,
the magic of the season comes in on the winter air,
wishing Happy Holidays to people everywhere,
