Poems and verses to strengthen the connections between family and friends.
As we travel through each day, we send and receive messages constantly. Yet, nothing reaches the heart quite like the surprise of finding a written message from a friend or a loved one tucked away in the back of the mailbox behind the bills and the junk mail or balancing on the kitchen table between the salt and pepper shakers. Greeting cards, postcards, and letters from afar remind us of our connections, brightening the light within our heart that is lit with the match of sincerity and bringing comfort to the spirit as we are reminded of the web of love surrounding us.
It is important to take the time to tell the ones we love how much they mean to us, how much they have influenced our lives, or to simply let them know that they are in our thoughts. A brief message now and again can help to strengthen the ties that bind us together as family, as friends, or as a community of kindred spirits. An ordinary day, a mundane moment, or a difficult period in our lives can be brightened and eased by simply receiving that brief message to remind us that we are not alone and that we are loved.
The verses and poems at Greetings From The Heart are appropriate for anyone looking for a few words to encourage a friend, wish someone well, send a holiday greeting, or to help someone laugh by sending a message, a homemade greeting card, or by writing a few words on a piece of paper to be used as a bookmark. Also, they are designed to inspire the reader as well, a gentle reminder that conditions improve, life moves forward, and that changes can occur.
I’ve enjoyed writing these verses and poems, and I hope that each one will help the reader find the words that they have been trying to say to someone they care about; words that will find their way to some heart, somewhere, who is waiting to be reminded that someone cares for them. And, I hope that the words will find their way to some reader, gently reminding them of the strength they already have within and encouraging them to follow their dreams.
